Unique opportunity to join one of the largest providers of financial services, trading products and market making services. The developer for this role will join a small group of technologists whose primary function is supporting the efforts of the fast-growing fixed income trading desk.
You will be responsible for the development, ownership and maintenance of the research platform for Fixed Income products. This is a critical role, building out the infrastructure for traders and quants to research their ideas and helping translate these ideas into impactful trading strategies.
The successful candidate will be a skilled problem-solver, with outstanding communication skills at all levels on both technical and non-technical subjects.
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years’ software development experience
- Strong programming skills with fluency in C++ and Python
- Good academic record with excellent GPA (Computer Science, Engineering or other STEM major preferred)
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix environment & tools
- High level of technical agility, with an interest in innovative technologies
Desirable
- Knowledge of Rust
- Understanding of fixed income products, e.g. corporate credit, ETFs, treasury bonds
