Salary: Roughly 30-40k ILS a month ($120-150k USD annual) with 30-40% annual bonus on top

This is a global, massively successful hedge fund employing thousands of people, but this division has a tech-centric culture, using modern technologies with multiple greenfield projects / building from scratch.
Tel Aviv is a key area of continued expansion; utilising the tech talent in the local area to build out core systems for this strategic and globally high-profile team.
Role
You’ll join a talented Quant Technology team on an ambitious project. Working closely with colleagues across the business globally, you will build and enhance back-end high-availability, high-throughput distributed systems and models, as well as develop microservices on top of in-house models, integrating them using the latest technologies.
The ability to engage directly with end users is essential, and you’ll find that others in the team are equally passionate technologists, skilled at balancing elegant solutions with rapid problem-solving.
Skills and Experience Required
- ~4-8 years of Python and/or Go systems development experience
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or similar quant field) from a top-tier university
- Good understand of design patterns, algorithms and data structures
- Effective communication skills, including proficiency in spoken & written English
Desirable
- Microservices / AWS / distributed computing
- Finance experience NOT required
