About the Role:
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline the development, testing, and deployment of trading applications and quant research tools.
- Automate and optimize the deployment of trading algorithms, data pipelines, and other related systems.
- Collaborate closely with trading, quant research, and IT teams to identify bottlenecks and implement efficient solutions.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using modern tools and frameworks.
- Monitor and troubleshoot system performance, ensuring high availability and reliability of critical systems.
- Manage and enhance cloud-based infrastructure, ensuring scalability and security.
- Create and maintain documentation for processes, configurations, and best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, recommending and implementing improvements where applicable.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, with a strong understanding of CI/CD, automation, and cloud infrastructure.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with scripting and automation tools.
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
- Experience in the financial industry, particularly in trading or quantitative research, is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skiils and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
