Fantastic opportunity to join a rapidly growing crypto trading firm founded by highly successful individuals from market-leading HFT firms.
A small but established company with a strong track record, they’re hugely technology-driven, building high-frequency trading and arbitrage strategies across cryptocurrency markets.
Role
They’re looking for an experienced C++ Engineer to develop and optimise the firm’s core low-latency trading systems. You’ll work across market data, exchange connectivity and trading algorithms, with a particular focus on improving performance at the microsecond/nanosecond level without sacrificing reliability.
This is a senior, hands-on position with significant technical ownership. You’ll independently lead projects from requirements through to production, while collaborating closely with Traders and other Engineers across the business.
Requirements
- 6+ years’ professional C++ development experience
- Strong high-load / low-latency systems experience
- Experience optimising performance at the microsecond/nanosecond level
- Strong understanding of networking, data structures and algorithms
- Financial markets and/or HFT experience
- Excellent analytical and debugging skills
Desirable
- Kernel bypass experience
- System and network performance optimisation
- WebSockets, FIX and/or Kafka
- Trading strategy development experience
