Now looking to add an end-user trading support/SRE in Hong Kong, this role offers the opportunity to:
- Provide crucial first- and second- level support for the front office
- Work in all aspects of user/strategy application support
- Gather requirements and collaborate with engineering teams to ensure delivery of functionality
- Contribute to application deployment, checkout and QA testing
- Partner with back-office teams to resolve issues related to security setups, trade booking, corporate actions, etc.
- Participate in global coverage for system support & start-of-day/intraday health checks
You’ll be expected to be a self-starter who demonstrates a strong sense of ownership, execution and the ability to work and deliver results autonomously.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience supporting Equities trading systems in finance
- Experience with Linux/Unix and KDB/SQL databases
- Scripting language skills, ideally Python and shell
- Sound understanding of trading workflows, with proficiency troubleshooting breaks
- Deep knowledge of FIX protocol and incident management
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or related field)
- Excellent communicator with both technical and non-technical colleagues
